  VIDA M. GINDLESPERGER
  
    Vida M. Gindlesperger, 88, Church of the Brethren Home, Paint Borough,
  formerly of Scalp Level, died Feb. 3, 1985, at the home.
    She was born April 29, 1896, in Elton, daughter of late George and Anna
  (Hutzel) Rose.
    She was preceded in death by husband, Harry R., who died in 1966;
  brothers, George and William; and sister, Bessie.
    She is survived by daughter, Leona, widow of Herbert McCloud, Windber,
  and grandson, Scott, married to former Carol Pauley, Richland Township.
    She was a sister of Ethel, wife of Roy Shaffer, Berlin, and Glenn,
  married to former Bessie Weaver, Windber RD 2.  Also survived by
  sisters-in-law:  Mary Rose, Johnstown; Elma Zeis, Sarasota, Fla.; and Sadie
  Kaltenbauth, Latrobe.
    She was a member of Mount Zion Lutheran Church, Scalp Level, and life
  member of Scalp Level-Paint Volunteer Fire Co. Auxiliary.
    Funeral services were conducted at The Shank-Dalla Valle Funeral Home,
  Windber, the Rev. Joel Springer, officiating.  Interment, Richland Cemetery.
