His death was due to paralysis. He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Christian Gingerich and was born near Grantsville and lived in this vicinity for many years. He was married to Miss Mary Kamp, and after her death, to Miss Lydia Petersheim, who preceded him in death a year ago. He was a farmer by occupation, having owned and farmed a tract of land near Grantsville. About 18 years ago, he moved to Greenwood, Del., where he has resided since that time. He is survived by the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. C. C. Wisseman and Daniel Gingerich, Grantsville, Md.; Louis Gingerich, Frostburg, Md.; and Mrs. Daniel Tressler, Greenwood, Del. Mrs. C. C. Wisseman, son Walter and daughter Helen and Daniel Gingerich attended the funeral services. Meyersdale Republican, September 1, 1932
