Born July 24, 1892 in Johnstown, a son of George and Emma (Frank) Ginter. Preceded in death by first wife, Lena Brubaker and second wife, Leona Glessner; also one son, Dwain; and Howard. Survived by one son, Paul I., at home, and Hazel, wife of Clyde H. Ware of Stoystown; also four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; also two sisters and one brother; Emma Baer and William, both of Davidsville, and Miss Florence Ginter of San Diego, Cal. Formerly owned and operated the Ginter Bakery in Somerset; retired employee of PennDOT and the U.S. Post Office of Somerset; member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Somerset; Somerset IOOF Lodge 438. He was a veteran of World War I, and belonged to the Fifth Division Red Diamond Organization. Friends are being received in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where service will be conducted Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. H. James Meyers officiating. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park. Daily American, October 9, 1978 [G0489]
