  FERN GLASS
  
  Mrs. Chris Glass (Fern), 72, died August 26, 1977, at her home in Accident,
  Md.  She was born May 10, 1905, in Oakland, Md., daughter of Henry and
  Carrie (McIndoe) Smith.  She was preceded in death by a daughter, Dorothy
  Klink, and two infant sons.  She is survived by her husband, Chris, and
  these children:  Randall Glass, Swanton, Md.; Mrs. Leona Kaese,
  Baltimore;  Mrs. Janet R. Bowman, Somerset; and Mrs. Ilene Youmans,
  Accident; two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Bittinger, Greensburg, and Mrs. Hazel
  Margroff, Accident; 16 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.  She is a
  member of Ferndale Baptist Church, Oakland.  Services were conducted Monday
  at the Newman Funeral home, the Rev. William Carlson officiating. 
  Interment, St. Paul's Cemetery, Accident.
