  IRENE B. GLASS
  
    Mrs. Irene B. Glass, 64, Somerset RD 2, died October 19, 1976 in Somerset
  Community Hospital.  Born July 3, 1912 in Grantsville, Md., she was the
  daughter of Alvin and Bessie Bittinger.  She is survived by her husband,
  Paul; these children: Mrs. Thomas (Arlene) Fitzgerald Jr., Somerset RD 5;
  Vernon, Falls Church, Va.; Glenn, Arlington, Va.; Mrs. Wilbur (Janet)
  Shaffer, Somerset RD 2; Mrs. Robert (Nancy) Gindlesperger, Berlin;  eight
  grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
    She was the sister of Mrs. Ida Frye, Akron, Ohio, Mrs. Freda Woy,
  Ligonier.  She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.  She
  was a member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church of Berlin.  Friends were
  received at the Hauger Funeral home.  Services were conducted with the Rev.
  Kenneth Swanson presiding.  Interment was in the Somerset County Memorial
  Park.
