All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/somerset/ ________________________________________________ MARGARET GLASS Mrs. Margaret Glass, whose husband, Floyd Glass, and 9-year-old son, Floyd, Jr., were killed in an automobile wreck at Canton, Ohio, died in New York City, of heart failure, Aug. 14. Her body was sent by rail to Uniontown, and brought from there to Addison by Mortician H. B. Rishebarger. She was born Jan. 22, 1896, and lived 45 years, 6 months and 22 days. She leaves one daughter, Mary Alice Glass, and three brothers and two sisters. She was a trained nurse and after the death of her husband and son resumed nursing. She was sick only three weeks and was to be operated upon for gall stones, and was already on the operating table when she expired. Rev. James Shannon of Confluence conducted the funeral service in the Rishebarger funeral parlor. The pall-bearers were Don Hensel, Paul Jefferys, Roy Glover, Frank C. Wright, William F. Null and Dan Hileman. Interment in Addison Cemetery in the family lot beside the graves of her husband and son. Meyersdale Republican, August 21, 1941
