  RUTH E. GLASS
  
    Ruth E. Glass, 83, of Accident, Md., died Wednesday, May 18, 1988, at
  Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md.
    Born August 14, 1904 at Cove, Md. and she was the daughter of the late
  Robert and Lucinda (Keim) Kolbfleisch.  Her husband, Ernest E. Glass,
  preceded her in death in 1976.
    She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church (ELCA) and the Ladies Aid
  of the church.  She was also a member of the Accident American Legion
  Auxiliary, the Accident Senior Citizens and the Garrett County Historical
  Society.
    Surviving are four sons, Earl Glass, Oakland, Md.; Gerald Glass,
  Accident, Md.; Dale Glass, Grantsville, Md.; and Elwood Glass, LaVale, Md.;
  one brother, Glenn Kolbfleisch, Damascus, Md.; one sister, Mrs. Elsie
  Schmidt, Grantsville, Md,; eight grandchildren and eight
  great-grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, Md.
    Services were conducted in St. John's Lutheran Church at 2 p.m. Friday by
  the Rev. Stephen Yelovich.  Interment, St. Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery.
