She was born Sept. 22, 1889, in Friedens, a daughter of the late Edward S. and Ida (Coleman) Kimmel. Preceded in death by her first husband, James Hornig, and by her second husband, Charles C. Glessner; also by son James Hornig; a daughter, Mary Louise Glessner; three brothers and four sisters. Survived by these children: Mrs. Wilber (Dorothy) Pyle, Somerset RD 2; Mrs. Myrtle Blough, Erie; Mrs. Ray (Alda) Holt, Peninsula, Ohio; Mrs. James (Margaret) Page, Friedens RD 2; Mrs. Daniel (Doris) Sarver, Somerset RD 4; Mrs. Eugene (Geraldine) Niehenke, Somerset RD 2; Charles Vernon Glessner, Central City; two step-children: Lee Glessner, Wheeling, W.Va.; and Mrs. Catherine Stone, McDonald. Pa.; 21 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was a sister of Mrs. Annie Jones of Alameda, Calif. Member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Somerset. Friends will be received after 7 p.m. Thursday (today) at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home where service will be conducted Saturday at 10:30 a.m., the Rev. Richard Shellenberger officiating.
