  GLESSNER
  
    Alverda Grace Glessner, 97, of Berlin died March 14, 1997, at Meadow View
  Nursing Center.  Born March 31, 1899, in Somerset Township.  Daughter of
  Resley and Annie (Sarver) Stevanus.  Preceded in death by parents; husband,
  Frank R.; brothers: Harry, John and Ralph; sisters: Marybelle Uncapher,
  Margaret Patsy and Anna Rose.  Survived by these children: Miriam Glessner,
  Charlotte Chonko and Robert F., married to the former Faye Kallmann, all of
  Berlin; 11 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, 4
  great-great-grandchildren.  Sister of Edna Blank of Owings Mill, Md. 
  Member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Berlin, and ELCW.  Was active in
  Sunday School.  Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at
  Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday,
  Rev. Melvin A. Kirk Jr. officiating.  Interment, Berlin IOOF Cemetery. 
  Memorial contributions may be given to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Berlin.
