Born Dec. 13, 1904, in Jenner Township, daughter of William and Sadie (Darr) Weighley. Preceded in death by parents; husband of 50 years, Sherman; infant daughter, Pauline; sisters, Mary Baer and Pearl Ogline. Survived by these children: Mrs. Margaret Bloch, McVeytown; Mrs. Edgar (Hazel) Sechler, Somerset RD 7; Mrs. George (Emily) Waters, New Florence RD 1; Mrs. Charles (Wilma) Klingler, Lancaster; Mrs. Robert (Mary) Mohr, Ocean City, N.J., Mrs. Paul (Helen) Woolslayer, Meyersdale; Sherman Donald Jr., Berlin RD 1; Ms. Connie Glessner and special friend Ms. Carlene Shumaker, Berlin RD 3; 22 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchildren. Sister of Mrs. Harry (Mildred) Dively, Friedens RD 1, and Milton Weighley, Geiger. Graduate of former Friedens High School and attended California State Teachers College. Former teacher in the Baer and Walker schools. Member of Geiger Church of the Brethren. Former member of Berlin Brethren Church. Long-time member of the Second Society of Farm Women. Former Brothersvalley 4-H leader for many years. Former member of Berlin and Somerset Historical societies. Noted for her historical research and writings. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin. Viewing from 1 p.m. until time of service at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Geiger Church of the Brethren, Rev.
