Glessner, died at her home on Broadway, Meyersdale, last Saturday morning, about 10 o'clock, of a heart attack. She was aged 63 years and is survived by two daughters, Lydia and Elizabeth Glessner, the former a clerk in the Second National Bank, and the latter a local cashier of the Pennsylvania Telephone Corporation. Her only son, Lieut. A. C. Glessner, died several months ago. She is also survived by one brother, Herman Poschman, of Fairchance, and one sister, Mrs. Rudolph Kuffert, of Somerset. The funeral was held on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with services in Amity Reformed Church. Her pastor, Rev. B. A. Black, assisted by Rev. A. E. Truxal, D.D., of Somerset, had charge of the services. Burial was made in the Reformed Cemetery, with Undertaker W. C. Price in charge. Mrs. Glessner was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Poschman long since deceased. She united with the Reformed Church in early youth and remained a most devoted and consistent member until her death. She was also a member of the Dorcas Bible class and always present when her health permitted. Mrs. Glessner was a woman of deep religious convictions. Religion played a large part in her life. She possessed a most kindly disposition. She will be missed very much, not only by her immediate family, but by her host of friends who mourn her departure. She was a close Bible student and well informed on the religious topics of the day. Meyersdale Republican, July 2, 1931
