All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/somerset/ ________________________________________________ ANNIE SCHROCK GLESSNER Mrs. Annie Schrock Glessner, widow of Henry Glessner, died on Thursday, May 2, at 7 p.m., at the home of her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. McLuckie, where she had made her home for several years. She was born in Shanksville in November, 1863, the daughter of John M. and Elizabeth Weigle Schrock, and was aged 82 years and 6 months. Mr. and Mrs. Glessner for many years lived on a fine farm in Brothersvalley Township, now owned by their nephew, Nevin Croner, who made his home with them after the death of his mother. After retiring from farming, Mr. and Mrs. Glessner lived in Berlin where they were active in church work in Trinity Reformed Church. Mrs. Glessner is survived by a brother, Hon. Jacob B. Schrock, and a sister, Mrs. Lulu McLuckie, and one nephew, Nevin Croner. Funeral services were held last Sunday at 2:30 p.m., at the Johnson Funeral Home, with Rev. Herman C. Snyder, officiating.
