    C. Harold Glessner, 60, Berlin RD 1, died Oct. 10, at his farm home in
  Stonycreek township.
    Born May 25, 1906, in Stonycreek township, he was a son of Jefferson and
  Sadie (Weigle) Glessner.  He was preceded in death by seven brothers. 
    He is survived by his wife, the former Estella Winebrenner; and six
  children: Mrs. Glenda Landis and H. Kenneth, both of Berlin RD 1; Mrs.
  Margie Combs, Mt. Clemens, Mich.; Mrs. Polly Bell, Des Plaines, Ill.; John
  F., Somerset, and Mrs. Jane Watkins, Somerset RD 5; also 17 grandchildren.
    Two sisters, Mrs. Maria Fuller, Somerset; Mrs. Helen Mazer, Hyndman; and
  a brother, Sherman of Berlin RD 4, also survive.
    A member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Berlin, and IOOF Lodge,
  Somerset, he was a prominent farmer in Stonycreek township for many years.
    Funeral service was held at Johnson and Son Funeral Home, Berlin, on
  Thursday morning, Oct. 13, with Rev. Randall L. Heckman officiating. 
  Interment was made in Somerset County Memorial Park.
