    Charles B. Glessner, 56, of Central City RD 1, died July 9, 1984, at his
  residence.  Born Feb. 29, 1928, in Jefferson Township, a son of the late
  Lester and Daisey (Gardner) Glessner.  Survived by his wife, Audra Shaffer,
  and these children: Charles Jr., Central City; Brenda, wife of John Lucas,
  Enola; E2 Rodney, Charleston, S.C.; and Lester, at home.  These sisters:
  Jane, wife of Ralph Manges, Central City RD 1; Jeanine Bateman, Central
  City; and Patricia Ryman, Friedens; a step-brother, James Labrel, Stoystown
  RD 2.  A veteran of World War II.  Friends received after 2 p.m. Wednesday
  in Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where services will be conducted 2 p.m.
  Thursday with the Rev. Floyd Green officiating.  Interment, Somerset County
  Memorial Park.
