Glessner, 69, of Meyersdale, died June 8, 1985, in Somerset Community Hospital. Born July 13, 1915, in Meyersdale, the son of the late Daniel and Emma (Ohler) Glessner. Preceded in death by his daughter, Cookie. Survived by his widow, Gladys Bowman Critchfield Glessner; two sons: Oscar of Portage and Ronald Critchfield, Orangevale, Calif.; two daughters: Mrs. Edna Hawkins, Norco, Calif., and Mrs. Matilda Walker, Salisbury; 13 grandchildren, one great-grandchild; also four sisters: Mrs. Grace Pandero, Mrs. Anna Sutton, Mrs. Anna Canonico, all of Meyersdale; Mrs. Alice Cook, Glencoe. He was a veteran of World War II, and a member of the Pentecostal Apostolic Church. Friends are being received at the Leckemby Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Larry D. Stewart officiating. Interment, Union Cemetery.
