   Charles V. "Chuck" Glessner, 70, Coleman Station Road, Friedens, died Sept. 18, 2007,
  at Somerset Hospital. Born April 15, 1937, in Friedens, son of Charles Clemen and Ada
  (Kimmel) Glessner. Preceded in death by parents; sisters, Alda Holt, Doris Sarver,
  Margaret Page, Dorothy Pyle, Myrtle Blough and Catherine Stone; and brother, Lee
  Glessner. Survived by his wife of 26 years, the former Nancy Shippey; children, James
  Ott, married to the former Virginia Garcia, San Antonio, Texas; Tracey Zimmerman, Central
  City; Misty, married to Neal Buchanan, Sebring, Fla.; grandchildren, Kayla, Kevin and
  Katie Ott, Morgan Zimmerman and Tyler Buchanan. Also survived by a sister, Geraldine
  Niehenke, Sipesville. Owner of N&C Paint Service, Friedens. Attended St. Paul's United
  Church of Christ, Stoystown. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
  Friday at the Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown. Viewing from 10 a.m. until time of service
  11 a.m. Saturday at the St. Paul's UCC, Stoystown. The Rev. John Emig officiating.
