Glessner, 84, of Somerset Pike, Boswell R.D., formerly of Ligonier, died July 2, 2001, at Somerset Hospital. Born June 19, 1917, in Jenner Township, son of Frank D. and Martha E. (Hammer) Glessner. Preceded in death by parents, two grandsons, Michael and Jeremiah Glessner, one sister and five brothers. Survived by former wife, Ellen L. McKelvey, San Antonio, Texas; children, Franklin M. and wife Lynn, Washington, Pa.; Wayne H. and wife Debra, Ligonier; Wanda S. Miller, San Antonio; Margaret M., wife of Raymond Green, San Antonio; Carl T. and wife Phyllis, Punxsutawney; and Pauline P. King, with whom Charles resided; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Brother of Harold, Ligonier, and Kathleen Wuthnow, Kansas City, Mo. Member of the U.S. Trotting Association. A 1936 graduate of the former Boswell High School. Friends received from 11 a.m. until the time of service, 1 p.m. Thursday, at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell, the Rev.
