  EVELYN B. GLESSNER
  
    Evelyn B. Glessner, 81, Garrett RD 1, died Sept. 9, 1983, at her home.
    She was Born July 20, 1902 in Brothersvalley Township, daughter of the
  late Robert and Minerva (Heshizer) Beynon Walker.
    Preceded in death by her husband, Royden E., and two step-children, Alden
  Glessner and Vella Watson Lenhart.
    She is survived by daughter, Helen Libbert, South Gate, Calif.; two
  stepdaughters, Nellie Lottig, St. Paul; and Edna Housel, Salisbury; two
  step-sons, Jack Rork, Akron, Ohio; and Donald Glessner, with whom she
  resided.  Also survived by a sister Nancy Harris, Meyersdale; a
  half-brother, John Beynon, Acosta; 15 grandchildren, 19
  great-grandchildren, two nephews and a niece.
    She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Salisbury.  She
  and her husband were former proprietors of the Glessner Hotel, Garrett, for
  19 years.  
    Friends were received at the Price Funeral Home Meyersdale, where
  services were conducted with the Rev. Maurice R. Smith officiating. 
  Interment, Hays Church Cemetery.
