Glessner, 76, 809 North Spring St., Everett, died Jan. 5, 1974, in Bedford County Memorial Hospital. Born, Stonycreek Township, Aug. 30, 1897, the son of the late Harvil and Sadie (Stutzman) Glessner. Mr. Glessner was twice married and preceded by both wives, Hazel Miller Glessner and Eldie Onstead Glessner, and by an infant daughter. Survived by a daughter, Mrs. William (Lois)o Gastiger, Friedens; a son, Sheldon A., Chambersburg; five grandchildren; one brother, Charles J., Friedens; and four sisters, Mrs. Harry (Margaret) Felten, Berlin; Mrs. John (Lena) Glessner, Berlin; Mrs. John (Mary) Fox, Shanksville; and Mrs. Willard (Hilda) Schrock, Friedens. He was a member of the Glade United Church of Christ. Friends will be received at the Johnson & Son Funeral Home, Berlin, after 7 p.m. Monday, where services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Robert Robertson officiating.
