    George R. "Hezzy" Glessner, 80, of Berlin died Dec. 15, 1995, at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born Feb. 5, 1915, in Meyersdale son of Howard, and Alice (Brant)
  Glessner.  Preceded in death by parents, wife Roberta, daughter Nancy
  Pritts.  Survived by a brother, Paul of Cumberland, Md.; and daughter Ruby
  Brennan of Berlin, grandchildren:  Michael Keefer married to the former
  Adrianne Dively, Michelle married to Ronald Putman, Mark Keefer married to
  the former Rochelle Gary, and Stacie Pritts all of Berlin, George Everhart
  of Kentucky, and Brad Everhart of Somerset, great grandchildren:  Jason and
  Amber Putman, Jessyca, Cody, and MaKayla Keefer, David, Daniel, and Douglas
  Everhart.  Former owner of East End Tavern, Berlin.  WW II Army veteran. 
  Member of Berlin Volunteer Fire Department, Berlin American Legion Post
  445, and the Last Man's Club.  Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m.
  Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Deaner Funeral Home,
  Berlin, where service will be held 11 a.m. Monday Rev. Sherman Berkey, and
  Rev. Ralph Landis officiating.  Interment, Somerset County memorial Park. 
  Memorial contributions may be given to Berlin VFD, Berlin Pa.  15530.  Fire
  company memorial service will be held 8 p.m. Saturday.  Graveside military
  rite by Berlin American Legion and VFW.
