Glessner, 89, 2063 Northwest 5th St. Miami, Fla., died Nov. 16, 1979 at Cedars of Lebanon Hospital. He was born Jan. 26, 1890, in Stonycreek Township, and was the son of Edward and Emma (Walker) Glessner. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Emily McLuckie, who died in 1950; his second wife, Nell Smith, who died in 1970; also three brothers, Leroy, Cyrus and Willard. He is survived by his wife, the former Harriet King; one daughter, Mrs. Anna Pauline Scheifele, Transfer, Pa.; and one son, Ray A., Berlin RD 3; also three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Elinor Croner, Berlin. He was a former school teacher, farmer and a retired field man for the U.S. Government Conservation Service. He was also a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Berlin.
