Glessner, 52, of Green Acres Farm, Somerset, R.D. 5, died last Thursday evening at his home after a week's illness. He was a son of the late Jefferson Glessner of Berlin, and of the late Mrs. Sadie (Weigle) Glessner. He had been engaged in farming for many years. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Carrie (Darr) Glessner, and six children - Mrs. Robert Stahl, Cairnbrook; Mrs. Frank Lowery, Shanksville; Owen, Betty, Mary and James B., all at home. He was a brother of Victor, Ralph, Harold and Sherman Glessner, Mrs. W. D. Fuller and Mrs. Kenneth Mazer, all living in the Berlin community; Jefferson, Lancaster, and J. R., Somerset. One grandchild also survives. Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the home by Rev. George L. Roth, D.D., pastor of St. Paul's Reformed Church of Somerset, assisted by Rev. Galen R. Blough, pastor of the Somerset Church of the Brethren. Interment was made in Somerset County Memorial Park.
