LILLIE M. GLESSNER

  Mrs. Lillie M. Glessner, 71, died Friday, July 22, at the home of her son and 
daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Sykes Glessner, Berlin RD 1.  She was born August 
30, 1877, the daughter of the late Joel and Elizabeth (Wengerd) Berkley.  She 
was united in marriage with Jacob J. Glessner, who died in 1937.
  One son, William Sykes Glessner, survives.  Mrs. Glessner is also survived by 
a sister, Mrs. Mahlon Hay of Meyersdale RD.
  Mrs. Glessner was a devoted mother and a faithful member of the Berlin 
Reformed Church for many years.
  Funeral services were held Monday, July 25, at her late home, the Rev. Ira R. 
Harkins officiating.  Interment in the I.O.O.F. cemetery under the direction of 
Johnson and Son.
