    Norma Lee Glessner, 86, Somerset, died Aug. 23, 2008, at Siemon's Lakeview Manor
  Estate, Somerset. Born  Sept. 1, 1921, Fairmont, W.Va., the daughter of  Pearl M. and
  Goldie Mae (Riggs) Pitzer. Preceded in  death by parents; husband, Charles Dayton
  Glessner,  who died Nov. 15, 2001; daughter, Margaret Suzanne Glessner; brother, Richard
  M. Pitzer; sisters, Dolly M. Burford and Betty Jane Wagner. Survived by children, Mrs.
  Ralph (Lydia Ann) Welsh, Somerset; Charles D.  "Bud" Glessner, Somerset; Mrs. Barry L.
  (Betty Jean  "Jeannie") Atchison, Rockwood; grandchildren,  Mrs. Clentin (Heather)
  Martin, Greensburg; Amanda Lynn Welsh, Johnstown; Jason Atchison and wife, Kelly and
  Clifford A. Atchison and wife,  Kris, all of Rockwood; great-grandchildren, Alex and Zoe
  Martin, Brady, Carter, Savannah and Skylar Atchison. A 1939 graduate of Somerset  High
  School. Earlier in life, she worked as a linotype  operator for Henry Baker Reiley Sr.
  She was also a  member of Calvary United Methodist Church and enjoyed gardening and
  knitting. No viewing or  visitation. A funeral service will be held 1:30 p.m.  Wednesday
  at Somerset County Memorial Park. The Rev. Roger Peterson officiating. Interment Somerset
  County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Meals  on Wheels,
