  RUTH C. (SAYLER) GLESSNER
  
  Ruth C. (Sayler) Glessner, 91, Stonycreek Township, died Sept. 29, 2004, at
  Somerset Hospital.  Born April 29, 1913, in Somerset Township, she IS the
  daughter of J. Calvin and Hattie (Barron) Sayler.  Preceded in death by her
  parents, husband William E. Glessner, an infant daughter, grandson Leroy
  Glessner (1992), brothers Roy, Cloyd, and S. Glenn, sisters S. Pauline
  Berkey and Ethel Kimmel.  Survived by a son, William L., married to the
  former Shirley Flamm, Berlin; granddaughter Christine married to Samuel
  Hemminger, Somerset; great-grandchildren Faith and Noah Hemminger, and a
  sister Freda Sayler, Somerset. Graduate of Somerset High School class of
  1930, and attended the former Somerset Business School.  She was a member of
  Trinity United Church of Christ, Roxbury, 4th Society of Farm Women, Trinity
  Chapter 138 O.E.S., and the Silver & Gold senior citizens club, Shanksville.
  Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Deaner
  Funeral Home, Berlin, with 4th Society of Farm Women service at 6:30 p.m.
  and O.E.S. service at 7 p.m.  Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday
  at Deaner Funeral Home.  The Rev. Owen Preston officiating.  Interment,
  Berlin IOOF Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United
  Church of Christ, Roxbury, 9044 Glades Pike, Berlin, Pa. 15530.
