  GLESSNER
  
  Miss Ruth L. Glessner, 80, of Somerset RD 5, died May 14, 1973 in Somerset
  Community Hospital.  Born Dec. 11, 1892 in Quemahoning Township, Somerset
  County, a daughter of Edmund and Mary Weigle Glessner.  Survived by several
  nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by these sisters, Mrs. Ida Rhoades,
  Mrs. Kate Friedline, Mrs. Anna B. Walker, Mrs. Emma Marteeny.  She was a
  member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Somerset; was affiliated with
  the First National Bank of Somerset for 35 years prior to her retirement. 
  She was a member and past-president of the BPW of which she was named Woman
  of the Year in 1964.  Friends will be received in the Richard E.
  Hauger Funeral Home after 7 p.m. Tuesday where services will be
  conducted Thursday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Richard Shellenberger
  officiating.  Interment in the Husband Cemetery.  Business and
  Professional Women will hold memorial services Wednesday at 7 p.m. at
  the funeral home.
