  VERA M. GLESSNER
  
  Vera M. Glessner, 91, of Meadow View Manor, Berlin and formerly of New
  Baltimore, died at 9:20 a.m. Jan. 15, 2003 at Meadow View Manor.  Born in
  Alleghany Township, she is the daughter of the late Sylvester and Elizabeth
  (Fotchman) Leonard.  She was a housewife.  She was the widow of Manfred E.
  Glessner, whom she married on Nov. 26, 1930 and he preceded in her in death
  on Jan. 12, 1961.  She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter
  Grace; grandsons, George Maddy and Michael Kalbach; two infant
  granddaughters; two brothers, Bruce and Hubert Leonard and two sisters
  Dorothy Lynch and Helen Murphy.  She is survived by children:  Delbert M.
  husband of Clare (Brooks) Glessner, New Baltimore; Margaret L. "Toots" wife
  of Alex Maddy, New Baltimore; Mae E. "Betty" widow of George Kalbach,
  Laurel, Md.; Mary Yvonne wife of John Welsh, Newry; Rita M. wife of Cyril
  Suttmiller, Enid, Okla.; John J. husband of Judy (Lesko) Glessner, Berlin;
  Carol A. wife of Donald Hillegass, Manns Choice; Helen R. wife of Tom
  Miller, Manns Choice; sister, Phyllis wife of Harold Will, Berlin.  She is
  also survived by 39 grandchildren; 67 great-grandchildren; and three
  great-great-grandchildren.  She was a member of St. John the Baptist
  Catholic Church, New Baltimore, Pa.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4
  and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg, where a
  vigil for the deceased will be held at 8:30 p.m. on Friday.  Funeral Mass
  will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. 
  Rev. Allen Zeth celebrant.  Interment at St. John's Cemetery, New Baltimore.
