Born October 15, 1936, in Meyersdale, he was the son of Benjamin H. and Nettie May (Porter) Glime. He was the father of Mark H., USAF, Nebraska; Jennifer L., Huntington Woods, Mich.; and Joseph B. Jr., Huntington Woods. He was the youngest brother of George, Sally, Leroy, Nellie, Eugene, Anamary, James, Kathleen, Michael, Hugh and Don, and the late William, Charles "Buck", and Benjamin. A resident of Ferndale for 36 years, he attended Ferris State College and was the owner of Universal Waterproofing Co. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in Viet Nam as a Chaplain's Assistant. He was a member of the American Legion, Royal Oak, Michigan, and Frank Wendland Post 253. Funeral services were held Wednesday, October 30, at Vasu, Rodgers and Connell Funeral Home, Royal Oak, Michigan with burial at the Oakview Cemetery. The Rev. Ray Sayers officiated.
