He was a son of the late Jonas Glotfelty and Rebecca Specht Glotfelty, and was born, reared and lived at McHenry, Md., until he moved to Addison in 1924. He joined the United Brethren Church at McHenry many years ago, and was a faithful member until his death. He is survived by his wife, the former Cora Thomas of Markleysburg, Pa., and by three sons, Earl T. Glotfelty of McHenry, Mason J. Glotfelty of Oakland, Md., and Naylor F. of Addison. Also surviving are five sisters, Mrs. Alice Delawder and Mrs. Orpha Wilson of Washington, D.C., Mrs. Effie Weimer of Hudson, Ohio, Mrs. Ruth Brenneman of McHenry and Mrs. Sadie Wilson of Blackstone, Va., and seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. George Simpson of Mt. Lake Park, Md., assisted by the Rev. Ludwig of Keyser, W.Va., and the Rev. Jeffry of Markleysburg, on Monday, July 11, at 2:30 p.m. in the Church of the Brethren at Markleysburg. Interment in the Addison Cemetery. Meyersdale Republican, July 21, 1949
