  MRS. ELSIE I. GLOTFELTY
  
    Mrs. Elsie I. Glotfelty, 74, of Main St., died Sept. 25, 1978 in Memorial
  Hospital, Cumberland, Md.
    A native of Jennings, Mrs. Glotfelty was a daughter of the late George
  and Harriet (Folk) Stahl.  She was preceded in death by her husband,
  Orlando J. (Mike) Glotfelty, in 1969.
    She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ; Grantsville
  Cemetery Assoc.; Women's Guild of the church; Grantsville Firemen's
  Auxiliary and Northern Garrett County Republican Women's Club.
    Surviving are four sons, William D. Glotfelty, Fredericksburg, Va.; Carl
  B. Glotfelty, Camp Hill; Robert S. Glotfelty, Clarksburg, W.Va.; and Joseph
  Glotfelty, Cumberland, Md.; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home where services were
  conducted with the Rev. Douglas Garland officiating.  Interment,
  Grantsville Cemetery.
    The family suggests expressions of sympathy take the form of memorials to
  St. John's United Church of Christ.
