She was a resident of Goodwill Mennonite Home, Grantsville, Md. Born July 24, 1922, in Grantsville, Md., she was the daughter of the late Albert and Bertha (Bittinger) Swauger. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard D. Glotfelty, one brother, Ivan Swauger and four sisters, Irma Miller, viola Custer, Evelyn Bittinger and Helen Hendershot. Mrs. Glotfelty was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church in Salisbury and the Salisbury Firemen's Auxiliary. She was a retired cashier at the Acme Market in Meyersdale. She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Nov. 18 at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 178 Miller St., Grantsville, Md. with the Rev. David E. Fetter officiating. Interment will be in the Salisbury Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to St. John's Lutheran Church. Daily American, October 23, 2002 [G0631]
