Glotfelty, 67, of Accident, Md., died unexpectedly Oct. 23, 1973, while driving a pickup truck near his home. Mr. Glotfelty was a former member of the Maryland House of Delegates, was a charter member of Garrett County Farm Bureau, a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Bittinger, and was a part-time employe of the Department of Forests and Parks. A native of Accident, he was a son of the late Josephus and Elizabeth (Speicher) Glotfelty. Surviving are his wife, the former Martha I. Casteel; three sons, Donald Glotfelty, Accident; Hamill Glotfelty, Carlisle; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Orval and Elwood Glotfelty, Accident; and a sister, Mrs. Nelle Strickler, Finksburg, Md. Friends were received at Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville. Funeral service was held Friday in Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Bittinger, with Rev. L. F. Danner officiating.
