GLOTFELTY Mrs. Margaret H. Glotfelty died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jerry Beachy, in West Salisbury at 6:45 p.m. on Sunday, June 20, of chronic myocarditis. Mrs. Glotfelty had been ailing for the past ten years, and has been bedfast much of the past year. She was born in Summit Township on September 1, 1868, a daughter of Henry and Dorothea (Horn) Herwig, and was 79 years, 9 months and 19 days in age at her passing. She was married to Samuel D. Glotfelty who preceded her in death in 1903. A daughter, Mrs. Zephia Easton, also preceded her in death in 1927. She resided most of her life in Salisbury and was a member of St. John's Evangelical and Reformed Church. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Ada G. Lichty and Mrs. Jerry Beachy, and one brother, William Herwig of Akron, O., and by three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, June 22, at the Beachy home with her pastor, the Rev. Ira S. Monn officiating. Interment was made in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in charge of Mortician Stanley M. Thomas. The pallbearers were David Cochrane, Lester Deal, Ernest Keim, H. Clay Newman, G. Rees Lichliter and Hubert L. Newman.
