(Yappy) Glotfelty, 84, of Main Street, Grantsville, Md., died Thursday, Sept. 5, 1985, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md. Born May 28, 1901 in Salisbury, he was a son of the late Jacob J. Glotfelty and Naomi (Miller) Glotfelty. He was a retired clerk in the county liquor store, Grantsville, and was a member of Camp 41, Woodmen of the World. His wife, the former Dorothy Younkin, died in 1974. He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Pauline Mauk, Romney, W.Va., and a number of nieces and nephews. Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, where services were conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Wilfred Karsten. Interment, Grantsville Cemetery.
