One of the best known and prominent farmers of Greenville Township died at his home Thursday afternoon aged 71 years, 2 mos. and 7 days. He took sick about two years ago with rheumatism and finally became dropsical (dropsically, suffering intensely. Mr. Glotfelty was a son of Jeremiah Glotfelty and was born on the farm where he died, he having purchased it from his father. Deceased is survived by his wife and the following children: Mrs. Melvin Werner, of New Castle, Pa.; Miss Ada, of Somerset and Miss Ruth at home; Josiah, living in the west and Miles and Edgar at home. One brother and two sisters are living: Israel, of New Germany, Mrs. Henry Werner, of near Meyersdale, and Mrs. Noah Newman, of Salisbury. Mr. Glotfelty was a member of the Greenville Reformed Church and the funeral services were conducted there Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, his pastor Rev. A. S.
