He was born Dec. 3, 1949 in Markleysburg, a son of the late Alton Grover and Wanda Herring Glover Wilkins and step-father Wilbur Wilkins of Uniontown. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents Goldie and Hobert Herring. Surviving are his wife Christine Thomas Glover, three daughters, Annette and her fiance Tommy Simmons, Andrea, both at home, and Tracy Weeks of Richmond, Va. and a son David at home. A sister, Mary Glover York, of Youngstown, Ohio, a brother James Herring of Confluence, and two half-brothers James and Larry Metz from the state of California. Bruce graduated from Turkeyfoot High School. He was a self-employed truck driver. He was a member of the Markleysburg Union Church. Friends will be received in the Donald R. Crawford Funeral Home, Farmington, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Additional visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, the hour of service in Markleysburg Union Church, Rev. David Peters and Rev. Nevin Umbel officiating. Interment will follow in Humberston Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Markleysburg Union Church Memorial Fund.
