Glover, 89, Addison, passed away Oct. 18, 2006, at Henry Clay Villa, Markleysburg. He was born Dec. 29, 1916, in Addison, a son of Elzy and Maude (Bills) Glover. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Odessa (Salyer) Glover; sons, Ronald Glover and wife, Norma, Addison; Roger Glover, Somerset; and Edwin Glover and wife, Sherri, Addison; daughter, Carol Curry and husband, Lloyd, Uniontown; grandchildren, Kim Metheney, Tracy King and husband, Stanley, Brian Glover, Vincent Curry, Stacey, Shelby and Drew Glover, Joshua and Jessica Glover; great-grandchildren Stanley Jr., Samuel, Steven and Scott King and Casey Metheney; and a sister, Etha June Holadak and husband George, Monongahela. Mr. Glover was born and raised in Addison and was a retired dairy farmer, stone mason and brick layer. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and making picture frames. He served in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II and was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Addison. He will be sadly missed by family and friends. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 10 until 11 a.m., the hour of service, Saturday at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence. Glenn Foster, pastor, officiating.
