Glunt, 77, 1624 Sherri Way, Richmond, Ind., died April 2, 1995 at Heritage House, Richmond. Born July 29, 1917, Smithfield, Pa., son of Frank and Edna Spangler Glunt and had lived in Richmond since 1990, moving there from Shelby Township, Mich. He was a 1939 graduate of Penn State University. Navy veteran of World War II. Retired metallurgist for General Motors. Survivors include his wife Alma J. Stapleton Glunt whom he married in 1950; four daughters, Jamie Ellis of Keene, N.H.; Kitty Cogley of Garner, Maine; Betsy Peake of Shelby Township, Mich.; Amy Vroman of Litchfield, Mich.; one son, Frank Glunt, Chicago, Ill.; one stepdaughter Dee Dorr Ball of Richmond; one stepson, Charles Dennis Dorr of Palatine, Ill.; 10 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one sister, Sara Lou Swisher, Houston, Texas; one niece and one nephew. Preceded in death by one brother, Charles Glunt. Graveside service and burial at Kaufman Cemetery, Davidsville, 1 p.m. May 20. Arrangements by George E. Mason Funeral Home, Davidsville.
