ALVIN C. GNAGEY

  Alvin C. Gnagey died at 9 a.m., February 16, at his home in Summit Township, 
Meyersdale RD 3.  He was born November 6, 1878, the son of Conrad and Mary 
(Handwerk) Gnagey.
  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Elsie Lepley Gnagey, and these children: 
Merle, Glenn, Ray, Bruce, Helen, Guy, Clay and Max, and by one brother, Norman 
E. Gnagey.
  Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m., at his home, in charge 
of the Rev. J. Ewing Jones.  The body will lie in state in the Konhaus Funeral 
Chapel until Friday evening.  Burial will be made in the Lichty Cemetery.
