  Betty I. Gnagey, 53, Meyersdale RD 3, died Feb. 28, 1989, at Sacred Heart
  Hospital, Cumberland, Md.  Born Sept. 27, 1935, in Meyersdale, daughter of
  Mrs. Sadie Marie (Christner) Housel, Meyersdale, and the late Peter F.
  Housel.  Survived by husband, Max E. Gnagey, and these children, Richard L.
  and Gary J., both of Elkridge, Md.  A sister of Mrs. Eleanor Fogle, Garrett;
  Mrs. Marie Mathers, Millville, N.J.; Mrs. Verna Mae Niedermeyer, Pittsburgh;
  Mrs. Doris Oester, Meyersdale RD 4; Peter, Meyersdale RD 1; Clyde, Clifton,
  Va.; and Mrs. Anna Hamilton, Decatur, Ga.  Member of Main Street Brethren
  Church, Meyersdale.  Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
  Thursday at Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale where services will be conducted
  at 11 a.m. Friday with Pastor Robert Stahl officiating.  Interment, Pine
  Hill Cemetery.
