He was a carpenter by trade and was born in Somerset County, a son of the late Daniel and Mary Beal Gnagey. His wife died in May, 1943. A son and four daughters survive: Robert Gnagey of Birmingham, Ala.; Mrs. Ira Cover, Berlin; Mrs. Clarence Limma, Oakland, Md.; Mrs. Roy Saylor, Meyersdale R.D. 2; Mrs. Jay Suder, Berlin; and 11 grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday, at 2:30 p.m., at the Saylor home, with Rev. S. Loren Bowman, pastor of the Church of the Brethren, officiating. Burial in Union Cemetery, under the direction of H.
