Gnagey, 90, of Somerset, died Nov. 8, 1999, at Siemon Lakeview Manor Estate. Born Aug. 21, 1909, in Meyersdale, she was the daughter of the late William H. and Annie B. (Walker) Gnagey. Also preceded in death by brothers: Dalton H., John W., James S., Edgar W. and Home M. Gnagey and sisters: Mary L. Maust and Lizzie L. Gnagey. Survived by sister, Margaret L. Rummel of Lancaster, and numerous nieces and nephews. Member of the Somerset Church of the Brethren and its Women's Fellowship, Trinity Chapter 138 O.E.S., County, State and National Retired Teachers Association. Retired teacher from Somerset Schools with 40 years of service. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Somerset Church of the Brethren, with Rev. Dorothy Steele officiating. Interment in the Union Cemetery, Meyersdale, will be private. Family suggests contributions be made to the Memorial Fund, Somerset Church of the Brethren, 303 S. Center Ave., Somerset, Pa. 15501.
