  GNAGEY
  
  Raymond E. Gnagey, 61, Meyersdale RD 1, died March 6, 1985, at his home. 
  Born May 27, 1923, in Meyersdale, a son of the late William E. and Maude
  (Hay) Gnagey.  Survived by his wife, the former Harriet Jean Smith, and
  these children: David H., Meyersdale RD 1; Agnes, wife of Ronald Lee,
  Meyersdale RD 1; and Lois Ann, Washington, Pa.; also two granddaughters.  A
  brother of: William E. Gnagey Jr., Salisbury; and Mrs. Mary Ann Wockenfuss,
  Adelphi, Md.  He was a veteran of World War II, a member of the St. Paul
  Wilhelm United Church of Christ, where he served on the church consistory,
  a life-time area farmer, a member of several agricultural organizations, a
  past member of the Salisbury-Elk Lick School Board and the County
  Re-evaluation Tax Assessment Board.  Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m.
  Thursday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Price Funeral Home,
  Meyersdale.  Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at the St. Paul
  Wilhelm United Church of Christ, where the boy will lie in state from 12
  noon until time of service, with the Rev. Carl Mitchell officiating. 
  Interment, church cemetery.
