  GNAGY
  
    Anna Elizabeth (Betty) Gnagy, 81, of North Rosina  Avenue, Somerset, died
  Aug. 2, 1998 in her home.  Born in Somerset March 20, 1917, a daughter of
  the late John and Rebecca (Darrah) Carey.  Preceded in death by these
  brothers and sisters: John, Marguerite, Helen Schrock, Edgar, Leon, Eleanor
  Brennan, Joseph and Magdeline.  Survived by her husband, Herbert Galen Gnagy
  and these children: Susan, married to Fred Mishler, Barbara, married to
  Brian Maust, Rebecca, married to Joe Adder, and one son Herb Gnagy, all of
  Somerset; grandchildren: Jeff, Rebecca, Mollie Mishler and Adam, Carey Anne
  Maust and Luke and Matthew Adder and Kirsten Gnagy.  The death ends a
  marriage union of 51 years.  She was the last surviving member of the John
  Carey family.  Member of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church.  Graduate of
  Somerset High School 1935.  Graduate of Duff's Business School.  She was a
  former bookkeeper for S-and-A Chevrolet.  Friends will be received from 2-4
  and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday in Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where a wake
  service will be conducted at 8:45.  Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday at
  10 a.m. in St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church.  Monsignor Samuel Tomaselli
  celebrant.  Interment in Husband Cemetery.
