Goden, 55, Stoystown RD 3. died Aug. 3, 1981, at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. Born Aug. 22, 1925, in Utahville, Pa., son of Emanuel and Diven (Dersin) Godin. Preceded in death by parents; brother Emil; two sisters: Alice Winters and Dorothy Campbell. Survived by his widow, the former Mildred McClellan Coleman; and these children: Thomas, married to Theresa Oberneder, Boswell RD 3; Donald, married to Deborah Campalong, Brandon, Fla.; Pat Kaniuk, Windber; Mrs. Michael (Sherrie) Mayse, Boswell RD 2; Mrs. Tommy (JoAnne) Miller, Stoystown RD 1; five grandchildren: Stephanie and Brandy Goden, Bryan and Russell Kaniuk, and Tiffany Mayse. Was a brother of: Joseph, Cleveland; Mrs. Louis (Kay) Weaver, Mrs. George (Marie) Brown, Mrs. Clarence (Deveize) Fagley, of Erie; James and Samuel, both of Boswell RD 3. Was a co-owner of Goden and Godin Coal Company of Boswell RD 1. Was Merchant Marine veteran of W.W. II. Member of Central City American Legion Post. Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. Samuel E. Charlton officiating. Interment at Henner Crossroads Cemetery. If friends desire, instead of flowers, contributions may be made to the Heart Association.
