  GOLBY
  
  Elizabeth Stern Golby, 86, of Quecreek, died Nov. 8, 1982, in Somerset
  Community Hospital.  Born Sept. 6, 1896, in Somerset County, a daughter of
  the late Henry and Anna (Howard) Durst.  Preceded in death by first husband,
  Nevin Stern; and one son, Howard.  Survived by husband, William Golby; one
  granddaughter, Karen Stefanic, Florida; and three great-grandchildren. One
  sister, Mrs. Leore Arden, Somerset.  Member of the Beulah United Methodist
  Church.  She was a retired employee of the Somerset Community Hospital.
  Friends are being received in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home.  Funeral
  services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Beulah United Methodist
  Church, with the Rev. Herbert Lohr officiating.  Interment, church cemetery.
  Body will lie in state in the church from 1 p.m. until the hour of service.
  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Somerset Community
  Hospital Advanced Life Support Program.
