  GOLBY
  
  J. Thomas Golby, 85, of Berlin died March 9, 1987, at Somerset Community
  Hospital.  He was born Nov. 17, 1901, in Llandsfair, the son of John J. and
  Mary (Thomas) Golby.  He was preceded in death by parents; his wife, the
  former Edna Maust; a brother, Leonard; and a grandson, Thomas.  He is
  survived by his son, Robert T. Golby of Pittsburgh; one granddaughter and
  three great-grandchildren.  Also survived by his sister, Mrs. Ruth Watkins
  of Berlin.  Before retirement, he was a mine foreman for many years.  He was
  a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church of Berlin, Meyersdale Lodge 554
  F&AM, A.A.O.N.M. Shrine, Jaffa Temple, Altoona and Harrisburg Consistory.
  Friends were received Tuesday evening and will be received Wednesday
  (today) 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Johnson-Kulhman Funeral Home where services
  will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, the Rev. Ralph E. Mills officiating.
  Interment, Berlin I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
