GOLLER Lawrence Raymond Goller died Sept. 5, 1944, in a hospital in Cleveland, Ohio, after one week's illness of a heart condition. At the time of his death he was 56 years, 1 month and 2 days old. He was the son of the late George and Amanda Goller. He was a resident of Harnedsville most of his life. He operated a store and post office at Harnedsville for 24 years; prior to that he taught 6 terms of school. At the time of his death, he was employed by the Abstate Insurance Company of Sears and Roebuck, and a store in Cleveland. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lulu Goller, and the following children: Mrs. Helen Gower, Mt. Pleasant, Texas; George R. Goller, Henderson, Texas; Mrs. Esther Trezervant, Tyler, Texas; Mrs. Eleanor Ryan, Tolita, Texas; Mrs. Louise Romesburg, Cleveland, Ohio; and Sgt. Ted R. Goller, U.S. Army, Fort Sill, Oklahoma; one brother, L. Paul Goller, Flint, Michigan, and also six grandchildren. The body arrived by train at Confluence and was removed to Humbert's Funeral Home where it was viewed by hundreds of friends. Friday at 2 o'clock it was removed to the Harnedsville M. E. Church where he had been a life long member. Rev. Howard Jamison, a former pastor, of Connellsville, conducted the services. A male quartette rendered several beautiful selections. The floral tributes were beautiful and many. The pallbearers were John and Tom Rodehaver, Fred Hartman, Charles Gillinberger and P. S. and Jesse Gower. Interment was in the Addison Cemetery under the direction of C. B. Humbert. Meyersdale Republican, September 14, 1944
