  CATHERINE E. GOMER
  
    Catherine E. Gomer, 77, Meyersdale RD 4, died Monday, Sept. 6, 1993, at
  Cumberland Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, Md.  Born Jan. 13, 1916, at
  Meyersdale, daughter of the late Calvin and Theresa (Harding) Geiger.  Also
  preceded in death by 15 brothers and sisters.  Survived by her husband of 59
  years, George T. Gomer Sr.; three sons -- Robert L. Gomer, Hyndman RD 1;
  George T. Gomer Jr. of Malvern, Ohio, and Roland D. "Syke" Gomer Sr.,
  Meyersdale RD 4, and four daughters -- Zona Y. Murphy, Canton, Ohio; Bonnie
  E. Lepley, Wellersburg; Hazel A. Mallow, Cumberland, Md., and Audrey L.
  Mull, Hyndman RD 1.  Also 16 grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren and 4
  great-grandchildren.  Mrs. Gomer was the last surviving member of her
  immediate family.  She attended the Calvary Bible Church in Ellerslie,
  Md.  She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Wellersburg Volunteer
  Fire Company and former member of the Wellersburg Senior Citizens.  Friends
  will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Harvey H. Zeigler
  Funeral Home, Hyndman, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m.
  Thursday, Rev. Ken L. Korns.  Interment, White Oak Cemetery, Meyersdale RD 4.
