  RUBY H. GOMER
  
    Ruby Henrietta Gomer, 68, of Hyndman RD 1, died Wednesday, July 17, 1985,
  at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md.
    She was born in Salisbury, Jan. 10, 1917, daughter of the late Charles
  Fate and Lottie L. (Showalter) Fate.
    She was a member of the Zion United Church of Christ, Wellersburg, and
  the ladies auxiliaries of the Barrelville, Md., Outdoor Club, the
  Wellersburg Volunteer Fire Company, and the Meyersdale Veterans of Foreign
  Wars post.  She also belonged to the Ladies Guild of Zion United Church of
  Christ.
    Her husband, Lewis F. Gomer Sr., died Dec. 9, 1978.  She is survived by
  two sons, Robert L. Gomer, Boswell; Lewis F. Gomer Jr., Meyersdale RD 4;
  one daughter, Mrs. Janice D. Getson, Hyndman RD 1; and four grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home where
  services were conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Harold W.
  Crabtree.  Interment, White Oak Cemetery, Meyersdale RD 4.
